Does anyone use a HEPA air purifier for allergies to pet dander? If so, please let me know if it really helps.?
I I live in a basement apt. and I have 3 cats. My nephew lives above and are allergic to cat dander bad. We have an air purifier in the oven, but it really does not help. I think now having one for personal use in your room. Does anyone know if this will help? I do not want to get rid of my cats, that’s what I call do.Help.
I had several HEPA filter units in recent years due to my year-round pollen, dust and pet allergies. I had an Austin for about 5 years now and have IQAir HealthPro one. The machine is running 24 / 7 at a rate low enough, they do not want to be choked. My office also my room, theoretically obtain the benefits that most of the day. It is difficult to find a way to help the HEPA filter. In generally, I think my symptoms reduced by perhaps 20%. Unfortunately, the effectiveness of the device is reduced every time you open and leave the door (free) in the air, I’d say get a device would be worth HEPA air filter worth a try, but unfortunately I do not think it will help his nephew too. We have two cats (Maine Coon), and must remain at the other end of the house behind two doors. This looks really works well to reduce the amount of cat hair on the rest of the house. But if I go in the house where they live, or to escape and enter the house, I can say. Maybe you can try some things? Keep cats from various parts of the house that her nephew is used and the HEPA filter in your room. Do you use any med antihistamine or nasal spray? Chances are that if you have allergies to cats, it also has other allergies – dust mites, mold, pollen. There are many options in medicine today against – Zyrtec may be the most strong sedative. Good luck!
